Infrared saunas use infrared lamps to heat and penetrate the tissues of the body, unlike traditional saunas that heat the air.
Because of the deep tissue penetration of the heat lamps, an infrared sauna can operate at a much lower temperature than your usual sauna providing a much more comfortable experience.
Lightweight clothing is best. For men, we recommend some comfortable shorts and for ladies, shorts & a crop top or loose tee. Swimwear is another great option.
Make sure you bring a minimum of two towels to your session with you. One for the floor of the sauna, the other to sit on. You may want to bring an extra towel you can use to wipe your face or neck.
It's important to stay hydrated as well so be sure to bring a good size drink bottle and it's recommended that it be a dual wall, lined or stainless steel bottle to keep your water cool and fresh.
You can also connect to the bluetooth sound system and play your own music or audio book so feel free to bring a bluetooth enabled smart phone or ipod.
We ask that you arrive 10 minutes before your booking time so the staff can get you settled. The sauna operates within a fitness studio and if you arrive after your booking time, the staff might not be available to show you through.
Our sauna sessions are 45 minutes however you have a full 60 minutes within the room to allow you extra time to get ready before you jump into the sauna and time after so you don't have to rush.
The sauna is will be around 35 - 40 degrees when you first get in. From there you can control the temperature to a level that's comfortable for you or for what you're trying to achieve.
Yes. The sauna is a 2 person sauna so you may bring one person with you at no extra charge.
